Zanzibar
The Zanzibar Archipelago with its series of islands on the Indian Ocean is not only famous for its exotic beaches, balmy weather & warm tropical waters. But it also has a fascinating history and rich cultural expressions, as well as being a top adventure and eco-tourism destination. Our trainings location was one of the world’s most amazing and outstanding beaches: Nungwi Beach, located on the island’s eastern edge.
Zanzibar – the name itself evokes a vision of a tropical paradise. The Zanzibar Archipelago with its series of islands on the Indian Ocean is not only famous for its exotic beaches, balmy weather & warm tropical waters. But it also has a fascinating history and rich cultural expressions, as well as being a top adventure and eco-tourism destination.
The Island is well known as the Spice Island due to the farming and processing of aromatic spices. In Zanzibar you can follow the aromas and sample the delicious blend of flavors in the market street food and traditionally prepared dishes. Another worth mentioning thing about Zanzibar: within the capital of Zanzibar – Zanzibar City – there is a historic town named Stone Town, famous for its labyrinth of narrow streets, historic buildings and ancient spice markets.
Beach Box Camps offered participants the opportunity to practice beach volleyball on one of the world’s most amazing and outstanding beaches: Nungwi Beach, located on the island’s eastern edge.
By the way, we brought Beach Tennis to Nungwi Beach as well.
